Have you heard about the new Julie & Julia movie? It is directed by Nora Ephron, one of my favorite filmmakers, and stars Meryl Streep, one of my favorite actresses! It is based on two true stories, Julie Powell's Julie & Julia and My Life in France, by Julia Child with Alex Prud'homme. I came across the Julie & Julia book recently, and it sounds delightful. I have not read it yet but it is definitely on my list!
The movie comes out in August, and now you have the chance to win Julie Powell's memoir and read it this summer.

I recently finished "Bridge of Sighs" by Richard Russo. It wasn't my favorite of his novels but still, it was a wonderful book & made me wish he had a list of novels as long as Joyce Carol Oates for me to read! lol
