Obama's Blackberry by Kasper Hauser: Review

Saturday, June 20, 2009 Posted by Dina N

Last month, I hosted a giveaway for Obama's Blackberry by Kasper Hauser. It ended this week, and I am getting ready to post the five lucky winners of a copy of this book. Thanks to Hachette Book Group, the generous sponsor of the giveaway, I received a review copy, as well! I have to tell you, it's hilarious. Each page is formatted as a Blackberry screen, and contains an e-mail exchange (fictional, of course) between President Obama and his entourage, family members, or major public personas. Some messages are in Blackberry-appropriate shorthand while others read more like a conversation. What they all have in common is the fresh and funny slivers of perspective they provide into some of modern U.S. political life.

Obama's Blackberry is a short and easy read, and would make a great gift not just for the politics afficionado but for anyone who is willing to take a humorous look at today's politics and Oval Office. It would be a treat for any Kasper Hauser fan, too!

Stay tuned to find out who won a copy!
