A week ago, I won a giveaway hosted by Jabbering Jessi. The prize was a gift certificate to Dee's DeeZigns. I fell in love with her shop, and had the hardest time deciding how to spend the money - there is so much to choose from!Dee's DeeZigns was established in 2006. Dee started by making purses out of placemats. She offers handmade bags at affordable prices. In addition to totes and purses, Dee's DeeZigns makes makeup bags, chalkboard mats, checkbook covers, coin pouches and key fobs.
I picked the Amy Butler Geisha Fans Makeup bag. It arrived very quickly, and the design looked even better in real life! I love the stylish fabric. The bag is roomy, it measures 4" high, 8" wide, and 2" deep. It has lots of space for your cosmetics, and can be used at home, for travel, or placed in your purse. The makeup bag closes securely with a zipper and is well-made, with attention to every detail.
Another item that I really like is the children's chalkboard mat. As a mom, I know how important it is to have easy portable fun for the kids. The mat has a felt pocket that attachs with velcro, holds chalk and doubles as the eraser. It folds up with a velcro closure and two handles for easy transport. You can pick any of the 12 adorable designs - puppies, Dora the Explorer, Princess, Curious George, My Little Pony, and you are sure to find a theme for the kid in your life. These will make great presents for children, and I plan to get a few for my little artists.
