My Wish List and A Sneak Peak: Le Creuset Cookware from CSN Stores

Friday, April 16, 2010 Posted by Dina N

What's on your wish list for Mother's Day this year? A day at the spa? An extra few hours of sleep and breakfast in bed? A few blissful hours with an exciting book? I may wish for all of these at some point but this year, I am wishing for some Le Creuset. This must be the most beautiful cookware I've seen! It comes in many wonderful colors, and I've been reading rave reviews from people who own Le Creuset dishes.

Now that I know what I want for Mother's Day, my birthday, wedding anniversary and Christmas - of course you need more than one fabulous piece of cookware! - I need some ideas for Father's Day. My husband is a big movie buff. Before we had kids, we used to go to the movies every couple of weeks. Now it's DVD land. Our Panasonic Plasma HDTV is almost a member of the family! On Saturday night, we put the kids to bed, make some popcorn, and enjoy a good movie and grown up conversation.

Our TV takes too much space in the family room, and I am thinking of getting it relocated. I might just get a corner TV stand for my husband for Father's Day! I've been browsing the selection at Racks and Stands.com, one of the CSN family of stores. I can't narrow it down yet but am working on it. Maybe you can help me? Which one do you like best?

And for those of you who care to comment below with an opinion, I'll give you extra entries in my forthcoming Le Creuset giveaway! Thanks to CSN Stores, I will be reviewing and giving away some of this fabulous cookware. We can all use some inspiration in the kitchen!

I have a Le Creuset baking dish that I have used for years. I love it.
The hubby gave me a tea pot for Christmas. Royal blue and it's lovely.

Picking furniture will vary from person to person. My favorite is
this one, for both color and style:

Home Styles Naples Corner TV Stand in Rich Multi-Step White.

Sign me up for the Le Creuset. Perfect as my niece is getting married to a chef on May 1 and this is the only cookware on their wedding registry. He loves and recommends it, adding more pieces to their collection.

I am pretty much a minimalist. I like items that get the job done in a stylish fashion without taking up any unnecessary space. For that reason, I think you could easily go with the Walker Edison Bermuda 44" Corner TV Stand in Black and Clear Glass :)

I absolutely love our Le Crueset! We have the royal blue color, and I'm always looking for pieces to add to what we have (my MIL gifted us the pieces we have currently). I love how they cook so evenly, and they're fairly easy to clean too!

I would pick something that matches the color of your tv and made of glass since it looks more modern than the wood stands!

Something like the RTA Home And Office 42" Corner Flat Panel stand!!

    Good lucck!! :)

the glass one is nice, but would depend on your decor. i like the bello 44" flat panel tv stand in cherry--seems like it would look good with a ride range of decors.

This is cool! They have a combination TV stand/fireplace. It's called the Classic Flame Glendale Corner Electric Fireplace & TV Stand in Premium Cherry. You can watch TV by the fire!

For the TV stand I would go w/ the Home Styles Lafayette Corner TV Stand in Rich Multi-Step Cherry - 88-5537-07

because dark woods or cherry woods match better w/ other furniture if kept through the years. Also it can be repurposed into a corner book shelf/book nook if you decide to get a wall mount TV

I like dark woods, I think they look "richer" and are more pleasing to the eye. I would go with the Home Styles City Chic Corner TV Stand in Rich Multi-Step Espresso - 88-5536-07.

I'd choose the RTA Home And Office 42" Corner Flat Panel TV Stand - TVM-020. I love black, it's easy to match with most decors, and won't stain (although it might smudge).

The Riley Holliday Highboy Espresso stand looks like a winner to me! I don't have a big TV myself, but if I did, I would love to set it atop such a stand :)

It depends on your decor and tastes, mainly. If you have older kids and like things light and airy looking, then something akin to the Sanus Natural 49" TV Stand in Cherry - NFV249-C1 might be for you.

Or, for something more traditional, but not top heavy, Walker Edison Castillo 44 inch. Corner Wood TV Console in Brown - CS44CCRMB. Although, it's still fairly minimalist.

    Good luck!!

I'm not sure what your home decor is like, but I've always loved cherry wood and most of my furniture is cherry wood! So I'd recommend Home Styles Lafayette Corner TV Stand in Rich Multi-Step Cherry - 88-5537-07

I hate to make it seem like I just didn't look very far, but the first TV stand is still the one that appeals to me most after looking at the rest: Brookhaven Dover Media Chest in Deep Merlot - C482UW It's very classic but with modern sensibilities, and it looks functional with the drawers.

(I got an error when submitting my comment so not sure if it posted. Sorry if this is a repeat!)
