The Spring Green #17: Original Sprout Review and Giveaway (Ends 4/21) CLOSED

I received six of their amazing products, and I am hooked! I completely agree with the company statement that they perform as good or better than high-end salon brands. My only regret is that I did not come across these fantastic products sooner.
First, Original Sprout products are free of phthalates, phytoestrogens, soy, gluten, parabens, and propylene glycol, with no added dioxanes or formaldehydes. Second, the majority of ingredients are plant derived from natural sources, and the extracts they use are certified organic. In addition, the hair and skin care are vegetarian / vegan and biodegradable. They are not tested on animals. Finally, all smell delicious but without the overly strong, artificial scent that seems typical of most baby products I've tried.
The products come in packaging that has the label information printed directly on the container. All ingredients are fully disclosed on the label. Kudos for that! If you are curious what's in the Original Sprout products but do not have a bottle handy, you can see the complete list of ingredients on their site.
We tried the Hair and Body Baby wash, Deep Conditioner, Miracle Detangler, Scrumptious Baby Cream, Baby Hair Balm, and Children's Curl Calmer. My children absolutely love their new wash and conditioner! Their hair was left smooth and shiny, frizz free, and simply beautiful. Their dry and sensitive skin was soft and clean, with no irritation. The Miracle Detangler is a fantastic product for all parents who, like me, need to brush their kids' long unruly tresses in a hurry every morning. My daughter no longer complains when I do her hair, and reminds me to use the "yummy stuff" every time. Thank you, Original Sprout, for helping me win the hair battles!
If your child wants that trendy spiky 'do, then the baby hair balm is what you need to keep the hair in place all day. I think the Soft & Clean Leave-in Conditioner looks interesting.
I love that it helps protect against sun damage. I have longer hair and if I get too much sun in the Summer, you can actually see the color difference when it grows out.
