The Spring Green #18: Nature's Baby Organics Review and Giveaway (Ends 4/23) CLOSED

Created by Adena, the mother of two daughters, Nature's Baby is a manufacturer and distributor of organic hair and skincare products for children. After Adena discovered that her daughter was allergic to her sunscreen and sensitive to perfumes and dyes, she turned to nature. Eventually, she researched and developed a line of products that any mother could happily use for her child.
I tried two of Nature's Baby delightful products: the Organic Baby Oil and the Ah-Choo! Chest Rub. Both are made with 95% certified organic ingredients, and are cruelty-free. The baby oil is a little thicker than other brands I've used, and gets absorbed quickly, without leaving a greasy residue. I love the scent - it's mandarin and coconut, with the mandarin prevailing. My daughter is prone to eczema, and properly hydrating her skin is really important. This product works by pampering the skin with soothing organic moisturizers: olive oil, jojoba and sunflower oil. The baby oil is hypoallergenic and free of parabens, nuts, and gluten. You can apply the baby oil directly on the skin, or add it to the bath water - a neat little trick I learned thanks to Nature's Baby.
We used the Ah-Choo! Chest Rub last week when my daughter was sick with a bad sore throat and fever. I applied the rub on her chest, gave her some fever medication, and she took a long nap. When she woke up, her fever was gone and she was feeling much better. We used the chest rub a few more times, and I noticed it was quite effective in relieving my daughter's discomfort. The rub smells pleasantly of eucalyptus and does not stain cotton clothing. It's a 100% vegetarian, free of parabens, propylene glycol and gluten.
