Piggy Paint while looking for a safe alternative to adult nail polish. The company was founded by a mom of two fancy little girls who - just like me - wanted safe, kid-friendly nail products for her kids. Piggy Paint sells water-based polish that is specially formulated of natural ingredients. I was happy to discover that their polish is non-toxic and odorless. It is free of formaldehyde, toluene, phthalates, biphenyl A, ethyl acetate and acetone. Finally, a kid-friendly polish without the disadvantages of traditional nail polish!
I am excited to share with my readers that Piggy Paint introduced a new TWEEN polish line, Project Earth, that includes six wild, neon colors. There's even a glow-in-the dark polish called Radioactive. We received a bottle each of the glow-in-the-dark and the yellow nail polish, plus a bottle of polish remover.
Solar Power, and is a fun and bright color that my daughter loved. We used the Radioactive polish on top, and she was fascinated how her nails glowed in the dark. One coat gives nails a subtle glow, and two or three are needed for maximum effect.
My daughter wanted to keep the polish on forever but I am happy to report that it was easy to clean off with the Piggy Paint nail polish remover. A remover that works quickly on all polishes, it is hypoallergenic and contains none of the solvents that harm Earth's atmosphere. Aloe Vera and Vitamin E are added to supplement the natural oils that protect nails and cuticles. The bottle features a child-resistant cap, and an embittering agent has been added to discourage kids from drinking it. Of course, you still need to keep these products out of children's reach.
