Ant Control with Terro: Review and Giveaway (Ends 6/18) CLOSED

We received two products to help keep ants at bay this summer - Terro Liquid Ant Baits and Terro Outdoor Ant Killer Granules. The liquid ant baits are made from a natural ingredient, Borax, which is safe to use around humans and pets, but is deadly to ants. Product safety around my children is always a big concern, so that feature is important to me. Another thing I like about the ant baits is that the liquid bait is contained inside a plastic "station", so there is no mess - and no exposed bait for my kids to explore.
Terro is a leading manufacturer of ant control products for consumers, and suggests using these two products together in a simple “Bait, Wait and Eliminate” 2-step process. The first step is Bait and Wait - bait the worker ants that are marching around inside the house - with liquid ant bait and then wait a few days. During the wait period, the ants will carry the bait back to share with the rest of the colony.
The second step is to eliminate access to the house by creating an outdoor barrier. This is when the Terro Outdoor Ant Killer Granules come in handy. The granules come in a convenient 3 lb. Shaker Bag™ that is resealable. This product does not need a spreader and is easy to apply around the house. You don't even have to touch the granules - just shake the bag to apply, then reseal it. Once you've baited the ants inside for at least a week, begin spreading the granules around the perimeter of your house in a three- to five-foot band.
The Terro Outdoor Ant Killer Granules work on a variety of other pests, too, including cockroaches.
