Keep Your Carpets and Furniture Like New with Clean+Green: Review and Giveaway (Ends 6/19) CLOSED

Clean+Green are eco-friendly aerosol pet cleaning products that I found can be used successfully on kids' messes, too. Clean+Green products are non-toxic, and permanently clean pet stains and eradicate odors. They are safe for pets, people, and the planet. Each Clean+Green product targets a specific odor/stain problem and can be used on carpet and area rugs, wood floors, tile, cement and all fabrics. In addition, the sprays are non-flammable, non-carcinogenic and will not damage the ozone layer – with no harsh chemicals or perfumes, no VOCs and no CFCs. They have products specifically formulated for use with dogs, cats, dogs and cats, small animals, and birds.
I tried the Clean+Green Carpet & Upholstery and the Furniture Refresher. Both are very easy to apply - just spray and let dry, or wipe off, depending on the surface. They contain natural ingredients and are safe to use on furniture and upholstery, fabric, leather, vinyl and plastic. The products are biodegradable, and just as the entire Clean+Green line, safe to use around kids - a big plus in my book. I used them to get rid of some stubborn stains on my carpet and sofa. Then I took care of a couple of spots on the car's upholstery. Worked like a charm! They clean, remove stains, and eliminate odors all in one step - on surfaces that you can't just pre-treat and throw in the washer.
Here are some neat tips and tricks on how to take care of your stinky sofa pillows:
First, take the pillow cover off of the pillow and spray it down with CLEAN+GREEN Furniture Refresher. Next, get a large plastic bag and your vacuum cleaner. Thoroughly spray the surface of the pillow with CLEAN+GREEN Carpet & Upholstery, and put the treated pillow in the plastic bag. Suck all the air out of the pillow (compressing it so that CLEAN+GREEN can reach the odor source) by placing your vacuum cleaner hose inside the bag, wrapping the bag around the hose and turning on the vacuum. Keep it wrapped up tight in the bag for about 15 minutes then take it out and see if the odor is gone. If you still smell something, you’ve missed a spot; repeat the process above until it is all gone.
Voila - no need to replace the entire sofa!

If I won, I would choose the Carpet and Upholstery Dog Urine Odor and Stain Remover. I don't have a dog, but I have a cat. I would think it would work just the same with cat stains. This product would be perfect for us, because my cat has a problem with going to the bathroom in other places than his litter box.

my tip: for cat puke if it is really chunky we just wait until it dries (if we can) before getting it off the carpet. that way it doesnt get smeared into the carpet more. gross, but it works!
