Last year, the American Academy of Pediatrics increased their fiber guidelines for kids. Now a 4-year old needs 25 grams of fiber daily, and an 11-year old boy - at least 31 grams. Pedia-Lax Fiber Gummies, a dietary supplement specifically formulated for kids 2-11 years old, may help meet these requirements.
I have two kids in this age range, and they both loved the taste of Pedia-Lax Fiber Gummies. Shaped like penguins in several nice colors, these chewable gummies have 2 g of fiber in each. The recommended dose is 3 a day which provides the fiber found in 1/2 cup of broccoli. It's been really easy to get my children to take this supplement. They never forget to remind me they need their yummy gummies!
The sweetener used in Pedia-Lax Fiber Gummies is Xylitol, and may reduce the risk of cavities. The gummies are calorie-free and contain all-natural fruit flavors. One bottle has 60 gummies, or a 20-day supply.
