Applied Labels can help label your kids' stuff - everything from bottles and sippy cups to school supplies, shoes and clothing.Their labels come in black and white because company testing has shown that black ink on white labels provides the best durability and the sharpest image. There are three font options to choose from. My personal favorite is Cutie, the one I chose for our labels. They look great in black and white but if you want to add color, the labels can be paired with Baby Tapes, available in 16 colors. You can choose between two lines of text or one line and an icon. There are 18 icon choices, and I like most of them.
I received a set of labels with my daughter's name and the butterfly icon. The labels are relatively small - 1.5 inches by 0.5 inch. The labels are of excellent quality and stick very well to shoes, clothing, and other items. So far, they've held up very well in the laundry. For clothes, the labels need backers and stick on the tags - no ironing required. I love the shoe shields because my daughter's old shoe labels are almost completely illegible now. The shoe shields are transparent tape that is placed over the label to make sure it stays in place - and it also protects it from smudging. The labels are priced at $34 and $42 per set, and right now, all label sets ship for free.
