Redecorating with CSN Stores: Futon Cover Review

Saturday, November 06, 2010 Posted by Dina N

We have a futon in the playroom, and I've been looking for a new cover that can take daily use and abuse and still look stylish. I found one like that in the Elite Convertibles designer print collection.

The Newport Navy Stripe futon cover has elegant stripes in blue, gray, white and tan on one side and is solid navy on the other. The picture does not do it justice - it's really beautiful, and exactly what I needed for the playroom. On my futon, the stripes sit horizontally. The set I got from CSN Stores included a pillow pack with two 18" pillows that match the futon cover. The cover is very well made from sturdy poly-cotton fabric that can be machine washed - a must in my house. I was very happy to find out it did not shrink after I washed it, unlike other covers I've had the misfortune to purchase.

The futon cover is very easy to put on and take off, thanks to a long zipper that goes around three of the sides. The cover does not fit too snugly on my full-sized futon - another plus in my book. One thing I would change about this set is make the pillow covers removable. As much as I love them, they can only be spot-cleaned, and I prefer machine washable.

I got an instant room makeover with the stylish look of this futon cover set, and I could not be more pleased. Hooray for easy - and affordable - redecorating!

Very spiffy. I'll bet it is nice to be able to just toss it in the washer!
