It's out of season care that I am not so good about. Usually, I clean them, then pack them up in their boxes - or not, I sometimes forget for a while. They come out a bit rumpled. I've put old newspapers in them so they keep their shape better. This year, I came across a much better solution - the Booty Shapers.
This smart little invention is not intended to keep any of your body parts in top shape but will help with your boots. They are inflatable, reusable, transportable and ideal for year-round storage of your favorite winter pair. The shapers are made from PVC and smell a bit when I first opened them. The company recommends that you air them out for a few days before you start using them. I received the Extra Large that work with knee-highs and thigh-highs, and the Small - perfect for ankle and calf length boots. I got hubby to inflate them, and now each of my favorite pairs has a pair of Booty Shapers! And boy do they look good. The Extra Large stick out a bit since they are also intended for higher boots. It does not bother me, and it does not bother the boots, either.
The Booty Shapers retail for $9.99 and are available online or at retailers, including Bed Bath & Beyond, CVS.com, and Drugstore.com.
