This outstanding account of early 20th century American history hit the shelves last year and the hardcover edition has spent six weeks on the New York Times bestseller list, with 275,000 copies in print. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the audio book version of The Imperial Cruise, also available from Hachette Book Group.

I really liked Dan Brown's "The Lost Symbol" (a lot of people didn't) It wasn't "a fun read" - but I found it to be very compelling.
I just started "Driven West" by A. J. Langguth, but haven't gotten far enough yet to have an opinion. The topic ('Andrew Jackson and The Trail of Tears to The Civil War') is certainly fascinating!

I read "A Thousand Splendid Suns" which has been out for a while and which I loved.
