Holiday Gift Guide 2010: simplehuman Bamboo Shower Caddy Review

Monday, December 06, 2010 Posted by Dina N

I first came across a simplehuman product at my wholesale club. Last winter, I reviewed their Sensor Soap Pump. This year, I received the simplehuman Bamboo Shower Caddy for review.

This shower caddy has two shelves with lots of space for my shampoos, conditioners, cleansers - and for my husband's, too. No need to crowd them in a small caddy anymore. There is a large soap dish for my goat milk soaps, and storage hooks for my razor and loofahs. Best of all, the shelves are adjustable! I can slide them up and down and left and right to fit my shower necessities perfectly. Tall bottles? No problem! Storing them upside down? Check! There are round holes on the shelves that make dispensing a snap.

The caddy hangs securely on my shower thanks to a rubberized clamp that's held in place by a and pivoting suction cup ensure secure installation. It will fits shower heads with necks of 3/4" to 1" in diameter. On the lower side of the caddy, a pivoting suction cup keeps it in place.

The shelves are made from rust-proof stainless steel - a great plus because my old shower caddy had started rusting and the paint was peeling after just a few years of use. I love the natural bamboo frame that creates the look and feel of a luxury spa in my shower.

I am coveting the other accessories from the simplehuman bathroom organization bamboo line: they have a bamboo bathroom ensemble that's just beautiful. Now where did I put that wish list...

I love the wood look and I've only ever saw shower caddys in the aluminum/medal. Thanks for the review and the link to their other products.
