SKOY Cleaning Cloths: Review

Sunday, December 12, 2010 Posted by Dina N

We don't use paper towels at our house. Kitchen towels and rags help take care of most messes. When I discovered a cleaning cloth that saves 15 rolls of paper towels, I was intrigued.

SKOY cleaning cloths are biodegradable, natural, and re-usable. I used them to clean up some spills in the kitchen, and although I did not measure how much they absorbed, the company says the absorption factor is an impressive 15 times their own weight. I love that I can clean and sterilize them the same way I clean my sponges - toss them wet in the microwave, and then reuse. Another way to keep them clean is to drop them in the laundry or place in the dishwasher. Each cloth is about 7"x7". SKOY can be used for cleaning, as well, with household cleaners or just water.

The SKOY cloths come in fun colors and bear some original artwork. They are made in Europe from a blend of cotton and wood-pulp cellulose. SKOY cloths are chlorine-free and made with water-based inks and colors. They are truly Earth-friendly - and fun to use around the house.

SKOY cloths are available in 2, 3, and 4-packs in several designs, including holiday prints. They can be purchased on the company's website for $6.99 per pack, as well as at retailers, including Amazon.
