I learned that Fabrics knitted with wicking fibers have drying rates as much as 50% faster than cotton. This means infants/babies will NOT be lying in expelled liquids for long periods of time.

these type of mattresses are fantastic! i bought an organic mattress b/c i was worried about SIDs but mine doesn't help prevent bacteria and dust mite build up.

It's a bit difficult to judge the mattress just by the info alone, and the information itself is a bit overwhelming. I guess it's one of those things best evaluated in person.

I think that this mattress is awesome and could also keep the drop down cribs safer in case people still want to use theirs. The issue isn't the cribs, it's the mattresses that were made for the cribs, they leave too much of a gap between the rails and the mattresses.
