Cute Eco-Friendly Stationery for Kids: Review

Sunday, March 13, 2011 Posted by Dina N

It's no secret that I love good stationery. It has to be stylish, beautiful, green - and I don't mean the color.

AmyAdele.com offers personalized stationery, invitations and gifts that meet my requirements - plus, they make adorable ones for kids! I spent hours trying to choose among the many designs on their site. Finally, I chose two that I knew my kids would love  - the Pink Fairy and the Happy Daisy Row. Then I had my pick from a dozen colors and a long list of fonts - twenty, to be exact. I personalized each folded card with their names and chose matching envelopes for each design.

I must say amy adele's customer service is outstanding. As soon as I had made my selections, they contacted me to confirm them and the order was shipped on the same day. It arrived by USPS Priority Mail that generally takes 8 days - I had it in 5. In addition, you can have your stationery shipped via FedEx if you need it faster. The cards and matching envelopes came packaged in pretty drawstring bags made of white organza. The printing quality is excellent, the colors bright, and the cards are printed on 100% post-consumer recycled paper that does not look recycled. Even the shipping peanuts are eco-friendly. Made with cornstarch, they are bio-degradable and FDA approved. More importantly for my kids, they dissolve - we had a blast watching a peanut disappear under running water.

In addition to cards and envelopes, you can get matching waterproof labels, Valentine's cards, photo cards, even tees and onesies. Does your budding social butterfly need a baby calling card? She can have that, too. Any of these would make great personalized gifts as well.

And now if you'll excuse me, I am off to browse the site again for some equally beautiful grown-up cards.

My second biggest addiction next to books is stationary and note cards. Thank you for the info on this site. I'll have to check them out.
