My Review
This gorgeous cookbook is written by renowned chef Matthew Locricchio. It includes more than 50 recipes that are sure to bring inspiration to novice cooks. Even if you've prepared more meals than you can count, you'd enjoy sharing the recipes with friends and family. Teen Cuisine has clear step-by-step instructions and mouthwatering photographs that will tempt you to create - and devour - many of these delicious dishes.

The recipes in Teen Cuisine are divided into breakfasts, snacks, soups, salads and dressings, sandwiches and burgers, pizza, sides, entrees, and desserts. Many are sure crowd pleasers: pancakes, tomato soup, grilled cheese sandwich, oven fries, mac and cheese, spaghetti and meatballs. There are useful sections on kitchen essentials, kitchen equipment and utensils, and a metric conversion chart. Last but not least, Teen Cuisine recommends using local and organic ingredients, avoiding mystery foods and following safety procedures when cooking.

My kids loved helping bake the Oatmeal Raisin Cookies, mix the ingredients for Deviled Eggs, and dunking veggies into the Yogurt and Cucumber Dip. This summer, we will cook and eat our way through the entire Teen Cuisine - yum!

Sounds great --- and I don't think you even need to be a teen to like these recipes.
