Even the packaging is eco-friendly. The bottles are made from recycled plastic that is phthalate and BPA-free. The labels and boxes feature adorable Eric Carle illustrations. My kids love The Very Hungry Caterpillar and get excited every time we use an Episencial product that has a picture of their favorite.
The Sunny Sunscreen - gotta love the name! - offers water-resistant protection with SPF 35. It absorbs easily and does not leave a white residue. All-natural, mineral-based sun protection is prefect for hours of summer fun. I love the gentle scent and the green tea extract that nourishes and protects my kids' skin. Great for babies, kids and the whole family, Sunny Sunscreen was named one of the top sunscreens for safety and effectiveness by the Environmental Working Group.
The protective face balm works great on chapped skin and lips, and contains SPF6 sun protection. It is fortified with vitamins A, D, E, and C to help restore and repair skin balance and texture. The balm contains organic coco butter, aloe, licorice and zinc oxide to protect dry skin from the elements.
Last but not least, the Soothing Cream works great for itches, eczema, and irritated skin. The active ingredient is oat kernel extract. If you've ever taken - or given - an oatmeal bath, you know how soothing that can feel on the skin. The cream also contains organic jojoba oil, neem, calendula and probiotics. I love the convenience of having the handy little tube in my purse and knowing that I can take care of itches on the go. It's wonderful for after-sun relief, too.
