Little Pink Princess Costume #Review

My daughter loves to play dress-up. Her clothes, my clothes, scarves, hats, shoes - it's all game. Halloween is one of her favorite holidays - and not just because of the candy. I am always on the lookout for cute Halloween costumes so that we are prepared come October.

Just as many other little girls, mine loves to play princess, and princess Halloween costumes are high on my list every year. Recently, I found an adorable Little Pink Princess Costume at Costume Discounters. Pretty, pink, and princess - the three Ps of perfection, as far as my daughter is concerned. I would add another P to the mix - price. I don't really want to spend a ton of money on a costume that may be worn once. At under $28, it was a steal compared to the Halloween costumes I usually find in stores.

The Little Pink Princess Costume is a long dress with peplum, elegant stand up collar, long sleeves, puff shoulders and gold trim. I especially like the length because it lets me put a pair of leggings underneath in case the weather is cold - and it will not spoil the look. The costume comes in two sizes: small (4-6) and medium (8-10). It arrived within a week. I was very impressed that the dress came packaged in a gown bag - just like a grown-up fancy dress. I like the fabric and the cut. I decided to hide it until Halloween to surprise my daughter. I am sure it will be a hit! We are also thinking about a princess birthday party this year, so she can wear this pretty costume on her birthday as well. We will accessorize with a tiara and a wand, and voila - princess time!

Now if only the Little Pink Princess Costume came in my size...
