Halloween Smiley Cookies #Review

Saturday, October 08, 2011 Posted by Dina N

Halloween is just three weeks away, and I am all set - bags of candy for the trick-or-treaters, costumes for the kids, pumpkin decorations. We also got to try some Halloween cookies this year. They came from the Smiley Cookie, and did make my kids smile.

This Halloween cookie is a large one, and comes in a box with 11 cookie friends. At 250 calories each, I only allowed my kids one. They liked them all right but to me, the cookies tasted a tad too sweet. This Halloween party snack looks like cookie Jack-O-Lantern and is covered in orange icing, with candy corn for the eyes and nose.

The cookies would look great wrapped individually in a Halloween gift basket. I try to limit the amount of excess sugar that finds its way to my house each October, so I will stick to my homemade chocolate chip cookies for now. Or, better still, pass the grapes.

Disclaimer / Disclosure: I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Those cookies are really cute, the perfect look for Halloween. Like you I try to limit the amount of sugary items in the house. Grapes are always welcome.

I thought they were rather tasteless myself. I ate the candy corn. I am a sugar freak
