Teas' Tea #Review

Do you enjoy green tea? I do - and not just because it's good for me. I like the taste, too. The good stuff in it is a welcome bonus.

There are many ways to get the benefits of green tea - a steaming cup in the morning, a chilled glass in the afternoon, even in a supplement. Teas' Tea offer bottled tea drinks that are brewed from premium loose tea leaves. There are no added colors or flavors, and plenty of antioxidants in each bottle. Speaking of bottles - theirs are recyclable, of course, and also BPA-free.

Teas' Tea has three types of bottled tea drinks: unsweetened, low calorie, and classic. I tried the Pure Green Tea and the Crispy Apple Black Tea. The Pure Green Tea is unsweetened and tastes like, well, green tea. The Crispy Apple Black Tea is sweetened with cane sugar and has 140 calories per 500 ml bottle. While I try to stick to water as my hydrating beverage of choice (in my own reusable bottle, thank you very much), Teas' Tea are a refreshing alternative to juice or carbonated drinks.

I was impressed by ITO EN's efforts to reduce its environmental footprint. Their tea products are packed in cardboard boxes made of used tea leaves and delivered by low greenhouse emission vehicles. Collected PET bottles are used to make ITO EN staff uniforms. Recycled tea leaves are used to make mat boards, tatami, plaster boards, even antibacterial benches, pens and vending machines. Thanks to ITO EN, I am now the proud user of a recycled green tea leaf pen that smells faintly of, you guessed it, green tea. I am also using a  cool Teas' Tea reusable tote bag on my trips to the grocery store.

Teas' Tea can be purchased online at the ITO EN Estore and at select retailers, such as Whole Foods.

Connect with ITO EN on Facebook and Twitter (@Ito_en).

Disclaimer / Disclosure: I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Wow, I have never heard of apple tea before, but it does sound yummy. I love tea but rarely drink it. It is my go-to drink though when I choose to get a drink instead of water when eating out. I too, am impressed with the eco-friendliness of ITO-EN :)

I love Green Tea, but I am also a big fan of fruity-flavored tea.
I will check out these Teas' Teas. Thanks for the review!
