I am reading a book of a genre I like (cops/mystery) but with a twist that I wouldn't have chosen had I known. But I like it and can't wait for the resolution.
I have an extensive library of books but (usually) only read them when I run out of library books.
The Negotiator by Dee Henderson (2004) is a about a female cop whose job is to intervene in hostage or suicide situations.
She becomes involved in a situation with a man, with mutual attraction. The twist is that he believes in God and won't pick a woman who doesn't. She doesn't believe. What will happen?
