Happy #Kindle Friday!

Did you check out the free books at the Amazon Kindle store today? As usual, Amazon is offering new freebies every day. Right now, there are about 4,000 free books in the non-public domain. Add to that the almost 16,000 free classics - including all-time favorites such as The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes, Pride and Prejudice, Alice in Wonderland, and Little Women. How's 20,000 free books?! It will take me a while to read all of those.

I grabbed over two dozen new free cookbooks this morning. I have not even started browsing the other genres. I suggest you bookmark those pages, and visit daily. As always, please look before you click. Some books may be no longer free, or they can be borrowed for free if you are an Amazon Prime member. Look at the Prime Members price for borrowing and the Buy price - or Kindle price - for free buys. Hooray for free books!

Did you know that Amazon has different books to download in the US than in Canada? Doesn't seem logical to me.

I wonder if it has to do with the various publishers--there are often different UK and Australian titles too! (which makes more sense than Canada, I know!)
