Help Kids Tie Their Shoes with Loopeez

Sunday, January 01, 2012 Posted by Dina N

Loopeez is a shoe tying aid for kids. This handy little invention holds the "bunny ears" in place so that small hands can tie shoelaces all by themselves. Loopeez stays on the shoes and doubles up as a fun decoration. Apart from helping eliminate little ones' frustration with tying their own shoes, it has the added benefit of keeping shoes tied longer. No more tripping over laces dragging on the muddy ground!

This shoe tying aid is also recommended for children with special needs or autism. In addition, it can be helpful to adults who suffer from arthritis or have had a stroke. Check out the short video below to see Loopeez in action.

Loopeez come in white or clear as well as in eight cute designs. My daughter loves the adorable butterflies on hers! The company also offers bi-color teaching laces that make the learning process even easier. A set of shoelaces retails for $4.99, and a set of Loopeez costs $5.95. Me Do It with no frustration? Priceless.

I just realized I'm tying my laces wrong - I don't quite get what he is doing! What a clever idea though!

This is a great idea for kids learning how to tie their shoes. I had a hard time teaching my kids, but this would have been fantastic for them. I did buy a book about the topic though.
