Kettle Cuisine Soups #Giveaway
I love a bowl of hot, delicious soup - especially in winter. I make a huge pot and my family eats every drop. I am so glad that the kids enjoy a nice, healthy bowl because I was not a soup eater growing up. My appreciation for soup came only after I started preparing my own. And I make great soups, if I may say so myself.
Kettle Cuisine has been making soup longer than I have - since 1986. Today, Kettle Cuisine offers a selection of over 50 varieties of soups, chilis and chowders, delivered to over 5,000 restaurants, cafés, delicatessens and supermarkets in the United States. And now their excellent soups can be found in the freezers of grocery stores in the U.S. and Canada.
The Kettle Cuisine frozen soups come in single-serve 10 oz bowls. The soups are ready in minutes and can be heated up in the microwave or on the stove top. They are perfect for a quick, easy meal at home, at the office, or at school. The soups are all natural and gluten-free. Some are vegetarian, dairy-free, and low fat. I tried 6 of their 10 varieties of frozen soups, and I can tell you they are delicious. The soups are flavorful and thick, with yummy chunks of veggies. My favorites are the three vegetarian soups I tasted. In order of preference, these are the Roasted Vegetable, Three Bean Chili, and Tomato Soup with Garden Vegetables. The chili tastes homemade, packing over half of my daily dose of fiber and 11 grams of protein. The tomato soup has just 110 calories. I topped it with a little bit of shredded Cheddar cheese. My husband gave high marks to the New England Clam Chowder and the Chicken Chili with White Beans. Last but not least, the Thai Curry Chicken Soup has a nice spicy kick and tastes like something that came from a good restaurant.
Kettle Cuisine offers four other varieties that I can't wait to try: Angus Beef Steak Chili with Beans, Chicken Soup with Rice Noodles, Organic Mushroom and Potato, and Southwestern Chicken and Corn Chowder. This time, I will get a bowl for each member of the family. Normally, I am all for sharing but these soups are just too good!
