Gifts Moms Love Review and $50 GC to Uncommon Goods #Giveaway

Sunday, April 15, 2012 Posted by Dina N

Mother's Day is just weeks away. Have you found the perfect gift? Today, I have some great ideas for mothers day gifts from Uncommon Goods. You can browse their fascinating selection here.

Uncommon Goods is a true treasure trove of amazing and unusual gifts for just about any occasion. I received a wonderful Gifts Moms Love gift set, including a Heart Vase, a Hidden Animal Mug, and a Stackable Lunch Pot. These items make very cute gifts for mothers - or friends, family, and even for yourself. Need ideas? See more gifts for moms on this page: http://www.uncommongoods.com/occasions/mothers-day-gifts/mothers-day-gifts.

The Heart Vase is an adorable little bud vase. The vase is made of beautifully colored glass and has a heart-shaped mouth. You can choose from three colors: rose, violet, and morning glory. Or, better yet - why not get all three? They would look great on their own or grouped together, with or without flowers.

The Hidden Animal Mugs hold a little surprise under your cup of morning coffee or afternoon tea. As you sip your favorite drink, a pretty animal figurine seems to magically rise inside the cup. The white ceramic mugs hide an owl, a fox, or a bear. Each mug holds 16 oz. - the perfect size for my cappuccino. This whimsical pottery was created by Canada-based designer Ange-line Tetrault. The mugs have different shapes, too - so you would not get your drinks mixed up at Alice's tea party.

Last but not least - the Stackable Lunch Pot is a great way to take lunch to work or to school. You know Mom wants everyone to eat well, right? This smart lunch pail features airtight containers, stacked together to save space. Two bins keep servings separate, and you can pop either section into the microwave. The bins are dishwasher safe, of course, so clean up after work is a snap. I love the handy "spork" and the sleek, modern design. And, in case you are wondering, the lunch pot is made from BPA-free polypropylene plastic. What a cool and green way to bring along your meal!

Visit Uncommon Goods to see more gifts for parents, as well as for teachers, coworkers, family, and friends. The company was founded in 1999 and aims to offer creatively designed, high-quality merchandise at affordable prices. From what I can see on their website, they are doing a pretty good job.
