Spice It Up with Spike Seasoning Magic Give Away
Experimenting with seasonings in the kitchen can be a lot of fun. I love trying different combinations of spices to give new life to favorite dishes. Besides, my husband loves using the salt shaker a tad too much. I am always trying to trick him with new flavors so he would not even remember to eat a heap of sodium at the table.
I received a set of 10 bottles of Spike Seasoning Magic, and could not wait to put them to the test. Just check out these tempting flavors:
Original
Salt-Free
Garlic
Tenderizer
Vege-Sal
Vegit
Hot'n Spicy
Onion
5 Herb
Lemon Pepper
Spike Seasoning Magic were created by nutritionist, author and speaker Gayelord Hauser in his test kitchen in Taormina, Sicily. Modern Products, Inc., the company that produces the seasonings, is located in Mequon, Wisconsin.
Spike Seasoning Magic comes in glass bottles, and can be used with meat, veggies, seafood, salads, pasta, rice, potatoes... The possibilities are endless. Over the weekend, I made a new recipe for BBQ chicken in my slow cooker. I used about 4 pounds of skinless chicken breast, sprinkled it with a mix of Spike Lemon Pepper Magic, paprika, salt and black pepper, topped it with lemon slices, and poured the sauce over. Nine hours later, I had a mountain of shredded chicken, cooked and seasoned just perfectly. I plan to use it over the week for BBQ chicken sandwiches, tacos, salads...
I've used the Spike Original Magic in soups, over veggies, and salad. It contains 39 different herbs, spices and vegetables. Yum! The Spike Garlic Magic, on the other hand, is 100% pure granular garlic. I sprinkled it liberally over some green beans - it gave them a very nice flavor.
Whether you like your meals hot and spicy, low on the salt, or high on the flavor, Spike Seasoning Magic can help spice things up, so your food never tastes boring. Personally, I am looking forward to more fun in the kitchen with Spike Seasoning Magic.
