Dollar General Every Day Heroes Program Celebrates Schools and Teachers (Dollar General/P&G Package Give Away)
A couple of months ago, I wrote about how Dollar General® and Procter & Gamble worked together to support the U.S. military and their families. In September, the two companies are teaming up again to celebrate schools and honor teachers as part of their year-long Every Day Heroes campaign.
Now, you can honor schools in your own community. Dollar General is offering the opportunity to win money for your school through its “Write to Win” sweepstakes. Those 21 and over may visit www.dollargeneral.com to submit a brief essay about why their school deserves to win. Three essays will be selected and the winning schools mentioned in those essays will win $10,000 each. Can your child's school use ten grand? You could make it happen by telling Dollar General what a great school it is and how it is shaping the future, one young mind at a time, right there in your community.
The Giveaway
Thanks to Dollar General and Procter & Gamble, one lucky U.S. reader will win a special Dollar General / P&G prize package!
The prize includes a Dollar General cosmetic bag and a Dollar General reusable sandwich container, plus samples of Tide PODS, Prilosec OTC, Cascade Action Pacs, Ultra Downy, and Scope Outlast mouthwash.
To enter, please follow the instructions on the Rafflecopter form.

I would recommend the high school where I taught until I had an accident outside of the gym. It is a Title 1, At-Risk high school. Maybe if there had been enough money, the sidewalk where I fell could have already been fixed and saved me four surgeries on my shoulder.
Thank you,
