Last Chance to Help Wholly Guacamole Send Military Kids to Camp!
Last month, I wrote about a wonderful new initiative by Wholly Guacamole. The Wholly Heroes Program, launched on National Guacamole Day, celebrates the little heroes - children of the soldiers who honorably serve our country every day.
Wholly Guacamole teamed up with Brad Meltzer, NY Times bestselling author and creator of Ordinary People Change The World. His team created the artwork for the Wholly Heroes program. The proceeds with go to Operation Purple® camps which is part of the National Military Family Association. These summer camps are special for military kids and the organization is a non-profit.
You can still help Wholly Guacamole meet their goal of sending 100 kids to camp! Here is how: go to eatwholly.com or facebook.com/whollyguacamole to purchase a shirt or donate directly to Operation Purple camps. The shirts are $10 and Wholly aims to sell 5,000 shirts. Both youth and adult size shirts are available. How cute is this design!
Hurry - the program ends on October 31. And check this out - each order will receive TWO coupons, each good for one (1) FREE WHOLLY GUACAMOLE PRODUCT (up to $6.00 value). So you get to wear a cute shirt, to enjoy delicious guac (or salsa, or queso), AND help bring a smile to a military kid. I call that a win-win-win.

Operation Purple® is a great program. I'm glad to see that Wholly Guac was a partner for this. It would be wonderful if they continue the initiative!
