LivyBelt by olive&nell Review

Tuesday, November 27, 2012 Posted by Dina N

My kids are on the tall and skinny side, and I often have a hard time finding pants and skirts that fit perfectly. They outgrow the length of clothing before they outgrow the width, so it's hard to avoid the high-waters look.

The LivyBelt by olive&nell is a stretchy belt that helps keep pants and skirts in place. It's basically a reinforced waistband worn on top of clothes. This fashion accessory comes in fun patterns and can be worn by girls and boys. Your child won't need belt loops to wear the LivyBelt. We tried it with my daughter's yoga pants that tend to gap at the waist. The LivyBelt covered the gap and added a nice colorful accent to her outfit. It's well made and I love the smooth feel of the fabric.

The LivyBelt is "one-size-fits-most" and fits waists of 14"-25", or most kids 2 to 10 year old. It comes in three styles: Lexi (traditional 4.5 inches wide),   Lizzy and Lila. The Lizzy is 9 inches wide while the Lila is like the Lexi except it has a nice bow. The polka dots and stripes designs are my favorite for girls. The belts also come in solid black or brown that can go with just about any outfit. The belts retail for $16-$18 and can be purchased at
