Shopping for Gifts at Red Envelope

Friday, December 21, 2012 Posted by Dina N

It's almost Christmas, and I am ready. The tree is up, the Christmas stockings are hanging on the mantel, and I've hidden the gifts really well.

Speaking of gifts, I prefer to do my holiday shopping online. No crowds, it's always open, and I can find the perfect gift without leaving the house. And the presents can be delivered wrapped and ready! This year, I found one of my favorite holiday gifts at Red Envelope. The Handprint Canvas Kit includes everything I need to create a family keepsake. There are four square canvases in happy colors - teal, tomato, marigold and light moss. In addition, the kit has four mixing bins to prepare the handprint paints, and a choice of five paints so everyone in the family can choose their color. If your family has less people, you can have a set of hand prints from the same person. Footprints would work, too - just make sure you can fit them on a 10 inch square. Should you have more than four family members, you could buy an extra kit and mix and match. I bet it would work for the family pets, too - paw prints, anyone?

The paints are water-based and non-toxic. That makes me happy since I would not have my kids dip their precious little hands in any old toxic paint. Besides making a great gift for the whole family, the Handprint Canvas Kit is a nice activity for the holidays or for a rainy day.

I found many other excellent gift ideas at Red Envelope. The hardest thing was not finding a great gift for the people on my list but narrowing down all the attractive choices. The site is well organized and easy to navigate, shipping is fast, and gift boxes are available for a small extra charge. I received status updates about my order via email at every stage - from ordering to shipping to delivery.

If you are looking for an interesting gift, you'll probably find it at Red Envelope. For those who have been procrastinating on their holiday shopping, there is a selection of last minute gifts available for Christmas delivery.

Many thanks to the sponsor for providing complimentary product for review. This post is not compensated and reflects my personal opinion and experience that may differ from yours.

This looks like it would be a great project, and slightly easier than trying to get kids hands in and out of a wet clay mix.

The Handprint Canvas Kit sounds like a neat gift option. I've heard of Red Envelope but never actually shopped with them.
    Thanks for the tips!
