Anti-imperfection Eye Therapy Cream with Growth Factor Review

Monday, March 11, 2013 Posted by Dina N

I've been using moisturizer and night cream on my face for years. I am very good about remembering - every day. Eye cream is another matter entirely...

Since I am not used to eye creams, I was a tad anxious to try the Perfective Ceuticals' Anti-imperfection Eye Therapy Cream with Growth Factor. The name certainly is a mouthful! Would it sting? Would it get into my eyes? Would it make any difference? No, no (as long as I pay attention), and probably yes. This is a highly concentrated anti-wrinkle eye cream that has collagen and elastin stimulators. The cream promises to fight the four signs of aging eyes: fine lines, wrinkles, dark circles and puffiness.

What exactly is growth factor in a cream, you ask? Here's the scoop, straight from the company that makes this eye cream:

Epidermal Growth Factor (EGF) helps diminish the length and depth of fine lines, under eye wrinkles and crow's feet wrinkles. Matrixyl (Palmitoyl Pentapeptide-4) helps reduce eye puffiness by strengthening the elasticity of the eye skin area. Argireline (Acetyl Hexapeptide) helps under eye wrinkles and crow's feet wrinkles to become more resilient to the aging process.

Now I am no expert in cosmetics or chemistry but I do love a good cream. This one absorbs quickly and does not make me look like I slathered on vegetable oil under my eyes. It will never make up for a good night's sleep, plenty of fruit and veggies, and a few glasses of water, yet it does help in my eye area. I have not used it long enough to see substantial improvement but so far, I am very happy with the results.

Last but not least, the eye cream is free of fragrances and won't clog pores. It also has Retinol and Ginseng extract which are intended to "de-saturate" dark circles. I am all for disappearing dark circles...

The Anti-imperfection Eye Therapy Cream with Growth Factor can be purchased for $72 per half an ounce bottle on Amazon and from the company's website. A free sample was provided to me for this review.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

So far, my face is pretty wrinkle-free, except for around the eyes. I need to try this product or something like it.

Glad to hear it's not oily--nothing is worse than mascara sticking to under eye helpers!

I don't use a lot of eye products, but I definitely need something to help get rid of my under-eye circles.
    Thanks for the review!

Sounds like a great product to me and love that is helps with the puffiness as well. I have that, wrinkles, and so much more. I should have had this years ago
