Brunch With Eggland's Best - Plus a Prize Pack #Giveaway

Monday, April 08, 2013 Posted by Dina N

Brunch is one of my favorite things about the weekend. A nice, relaxed, delicious meal with people you love, and plenty of time for catching up? Heaven. And I could not imagine a brunch without eggs. An omelette, deviled eggs, a quiche... oh the possibilities!

My brunch recipes seem to taste even better when I use Eggland's Best eggs. And that's no surprise because compared to your ordinary egg, Eggland's Best eggs have 10 times more vitamin E, double the amount of omega-3’s, and twice the amount of Vitamin D - something I was especially glad to hear since my doctor wants me to up my Vitamin D intake. Eggland's Best eggs also have three times more vitamin B12, 25% less saturated fat, and 38% more lutein - all good news for my family's nutrition.

I was happy to hear that my favorite Eggland's Best Organic Eggs were named KIWI Magazine Winner Of the 2013 Best Kid Breakfast Food Awards. I can attest to that - my kids always ask for seconds when I serve Eggland's Best Organic Eggs!

There are many fantastic brunch dishes you can make with Eggland's Best. From Breakfast Burrito to Sunny Side Breakfast Pizza, and from Broccoli and Cheddar Frittata to Mini Breakfast Casseroles, you can find close to 120 recipes just for breakfast and brunch - right there on Eggland's Best website. In addition, Eggland's Best Facebook fans can download "Your Best Recipe" The Top 20 Recipes from the EB Your Best Recipe Contest eCookbook. That's a $9.99 value, available for free to EB Facebook fans, until April 30, 2013.

For my own Eggland's Best brunch, I chose to make a Broccoli, Sausage and Mozzarella Cheese Quiche. My kids helped prepare half a dozen deviled eggs. As you can see in the picture, they are a little messy but extra delicious, thanks to those little hands doing the slicing and topping. Both dishes were a hit with everyone. I am looking forward to trying some of Eggland's Best recipes, too for our next brunch.

Besides on Facebook and their site, you can connect with Eggland's Best on Pinterest and Twitter, and sign up for their newsletter for more recipes, news and promotions.

The quacamole deviled eggs intrigued me the last time I browsed their recipes and I still intend on trying that one. Another that jumped out at me though was the Italian Meat loaf recipe. Meatloaf is a great comfort food, but this one has a surprise aspect to it that I really like.
