Bulu Box Review

A few weeks ago, I needed to buy a Vitamin D supplement. I went to my pharmacy and stood in front of an entire wall of vitamins and supplements. Fortunately, the vitamins were arranged in alphabetical order, so I managed to zoom in on the Ds relatively quickly. Yet, there were several choices even for this one single vitamin. What about all those others? How do you narrow it down among all these choices? And that was just one pharmacy. What about the specialized vitamin shops or the online stores? Choosing gets even harder.

Bulu Box is one way to try vitamins and supplements before you decide what's right for you. They offer a monthly subscription sampling program that includes vitamins, supplements, and health and weight loss products. You can choose between Bulu Box or Bulu Box Weight Loss. Each box contains 4-5 samples plus the occasional lifestyle extra. Once you're signed up, you can earn points each month by reviewing, sharing and doing surveys about the products and samples you've tried. These reward points can be used to purchase full-size versions of the products you like best.

I think this is a great way to try new products but I am not impressed by the product selection in the box I received. The samples in my Bulu Box were supplements aimed at either helping you sleep or making you more energized. There was an AeroShot Aerodymamic Energy Shot that contained three kinds of Vitamin B and 100 mg caffeine that made me feel jittery. The Q Speed CoQ10 supplement had a chalky taste I did not care for, despite the pleasant orange flavor. The Prolab Quick Fire Energy Vascularity Performance promised "rapid loading nitric oxide pre-training fuel" that is not something I'd choose from the shelf of that pharmacy. I have no problem falling asleep, so the samples of Dream Water and AtEase PM all natural sleep aid were not a good match for me. Finally, there was a $50 gift card to iTrain, a site where you can purchase workouts to use on your MP3 player. Each workout has a trainer’s voice providing step by step instructions with music in the background.

While this month's products were not a good match for me, they might work well for others. Boxes for other months may have samples that I might like. A month-to-month subscription costs $10, and you can sign up for 1, 3, 6, or 12 months at a time. Check out the Bulu Box site and their FAQ section for more details.

Right now, there are two promotional offers that you can use to try Bulu Box. Purchase a 3 month gift for you or a friend, and get the first month free with promo code JUMPONIT3. This gets you 3 months of Bulu Box for just $15 (compared to the regular price of $30). Or, you can buy a 6 month gift for you or a friend and get the first 3 months free with promo code: JUMPONIT6. This deal buys you 6 months of Bulu Box for just $30 (compared to the regular price of $60).

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

I agree that the samples wouldn't be great for me, but it's not a bad idea - I always hate paying full price for something I have never tried before!

I'd love to receive a monthly box and hopefully it would be products that are useful to me.

Sounds like a great idea in theory, was wondering about the matching process.

Oh, this is so interesting! I recently visited and purchased vitamins from Puritan's Pride website. I'm not sure I will order again because I haven't yet received them nor been emailed about the status. That's very poor. I would love to try this. I never heard of it before.
