Quick eBook Bundle #Giveaway {2 Winners}

Tuesday, April 02, 2013 Posted by Dina N

This week, I am doing the e-book giveaways a little differently. Two people will each win a book bundle of three titles I am looking forward to reading! Check out the details below. I hope you are as excited as I am about these books. Good luck to all who enter!

Book Description: Eolyn by Karin Rita Gastreich
Sole heiress to a forbidden craft, Eolyn lives in a world where women of her kind are tortured and burned. When she meets Akmael, destined to assume the throne of this violent realm, she embarks upon a path of adventure, love, betrayal, and war. Bound by magic, torn apart by destiny, Eolyn and the Mage King confront each other in an epic struggle that will determine the fate of a millennial tradition of magic.

Book Description: Life As We Knew It by Susan Beth Pfeffer
"I guess I always felt even if the world came to an end, McDonald’s still would be open."

High school sophomore Miranda’s disbelief turns to fear in a split second when an asteroid knocks the moon closer to Earth, like "one marble hits another." The result is catastrophic. How can her family prepare for the future when worldwide tsunamis are wiping out the coasts, earthquakes are rocking the continents, and volcanic ash is blocking out the sun? As August turns dark and wintery in northeastern Pennsylvania, Miranda, her two brothers, and their mother retreat to the unexpected safe haven of their sunroom, where they subsist on stockpiled food and limited water in the warmth of a wood-burning stove.

Told in a year’s worth of journal entries, this heart-pounding story chronicles Miranda's struggle to hold on to the most important resource of all - hope - in an increasingly desperate and unfamiliar world. An extraordinary series debut!

Book Description: My Half of the Sky by Jana McBurney-Lin
The late leader of China, Chairman Mao said that, "Women hold up half the sky." My Half of the Sky is the story of a contemporary young Chinese woman who strives to be modern, strives to hold up her half of the sky, but the traditions of her village keep pulling her back. While the narration takes place in China/Singapore, the story is universal: where do we reconcile the past with the present? Traditions with modern times?

    Thanks for the offer! I've been curious about Life As We Knew It for some time.

    I've been alternating between my library books and the ones on my own shelf, mostly trying to catch up on series I've been reading. So many good ones, too little time! :)
