Vital Oxide Disinfectant Review #spon

I like keeping my house clean with products that do the job well and go easy on the environment. Over the past few years, I've made the switch from conventional to green - no more toxic fumes, no skin irritation, and no overpowering smells around my family.

I also like products that work all over the house. Recently, I had the opportunity to try one such workhorse - Vital Oxide Disinfectant Cleaner. This product sanitizes surfaces in just one minute, eliminating bacteria such as E. coli, salmonella, and listeria. It's very easy to use: just spray and wipe, no need to rinse it off. I can't stand the smell of bleach, so I must mention that all Vital Oxide leaves behind is the scent of clean. It's hospital grade which means that it works even on scary viruses like H1N1, HIV and Hepatitis B and C. The disinfectant is safe to use, non-irritating to my sensitive skin and non-corrosive.

So far, I've used Vital Oxide mostly to clean and sanitize my kitchen counters and bathroom surfaces but it has tons of other great applications. For example, Vital Oxide can sanitize carpets. In addition to cleaning, it gets rid of odors  - on a molecular level, as the company says, not just by replacing one smell with another. As someone who likes to keep cooking smells in the kitchen, I am definitely going to try it against odors.

Vital Oxide happens to offer heavy duty mold control, too. I have not used the product long enough to see how it holds up over time but there are studies that show it's effective long-term against a variety of mold spores.

Last but not least, Vital Oxide is eco-friendly. It's oxygen-based, or, in science-speak, uses selective oxidation to get rid of harmful bacteria while removing mold and mildew. Now that's one green workhorse.

You can purchase Vital Oxide from The Ecology Works. Connect with the company via Facebook ( and Twitter (@vital_oxide).

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

I can't stand the smell of bleach either. I'm definitely going to look for this in my supermarket. Harsh chemicals are out for me and this sounds like a great cleaner for me to try. Thanks for the review.I've never heard of this product until I read the review.

Thank you for the review. I did not know this brand and I am also trying to keep all chemicals out of the home. My family has a lot of allergies and I am trying to keep the environment healthy for them.
