If you have a gluten sensitivity, finding delicious baked goods to enjoy may be challenging. Udi's Gluten Free Foods are coming to the rescue with two new baked goodies, just in time for fall. Udi's products are all natural without artificial flavors, colorings, preservatives or other synthetic additives. They sent me free samples of the gluten-free Pumpkin Muffins and Ginger Cookies to try. Those two pair very well with a glass of milk. We love the pumpkin muffins for breakfast. They are moist and delicious, and the perfect size to be filling without being too much. The muffins are very sweet, so they can double up as dessert - just top them off with a dollop of cream or frosting, and voila, fall festivity on a plate.
The ginger cookies have just the right little kick of spice. They come ten per pack, and we keep them in the freezer for freshness. My kids discovered they liked them semi-frozen just as much as warm. Since the cookies are soft, they can be gobbled up straight from the freezer with no problem at all. Yet, I prefer them warmed up with a cup of tea - such a great treat, especially in cooler weather.
