Miracle Noir Mask by Premier Dead Sea {Review} #spon

I have sensitive skin that needs a little TLC, especially in winter. My skincare regimen includes a daily moisturizer, sunscreen, night cream, and a gentle cleanser. I try to do a mask when I have a few extra minutes but let's face it, that rarely happens.

Recently, I got to try a free sample of Miracle Noir Mask by Premier Dead Sea. The first thing I noticed about this mask is the elegant packaging. It comes in a beautiful blue glass jar with silver top and gold lettering - pictures don't really do it justice. The jar's bottom part contains the mask. The top part hides a solid mud block used to remove the mask. Both are very dark gray to black in color. The mask is thick and has a solid consistency, similar to those dry lotion sticks I've used a few times on my knees and elbows. There is a small plastic applicator so that you don't have to dig in the jar with your fingers. I find this tool useful to scoop some of the mask from the jar but prefer applying the mask on my face with my hand - it's easier to spread it evenly that way.

The first time I used the mask, I was surprised by the slight grittiness as I spread it on my skin. It's not unpleasant, and my guess is it has an exfoliating effect. As I washed my hands after applying it, I noticed it was quite hard to get it off my fingers. I was a tad concerned how it would feel to remove it from the sensitive skin of my face. I left it on for about 15 minutes, then wrapped the mud block in a piece of tissue, as recommended, and started sliding it along my face. It worked flawlessly - the mask came off easily. All it left behind was a layer of mineral oil. Then I cleaned my face with a cleansing milk and washed it with cleanser and water. My skin felt smooth, soft and clean, as if I'd had a good spa facial. According to the company, the mask contains powerful antioxidants that leave your skin looking younger than ever. I am very happy with the results, so I will take their word for it. I love it that the mask is hypoallergenic and dermatology tested to be appropriate for all skin types (excluding acne prone).

I've used the Miracle Noir Mask a few times since I got it, and I get the same great experience every time. The mask should not be used more than once per 60 hours, so a couple of times per week is enough for me. This is a luxury product, and the price tag of $249.99 per 2.04 oz jar makes it kind of a splurge for me. On the other hand, what do you get for the girl who has everything? A miracle mask, of course.

The Miracle Noir Mask has been featured in magazines such as Glamour, Bazaar, Elle, and Marie Claire. It is available from the official Premier Dead Sea website, along with a variety of other fantastic-looking skincare and makeup products that I'd love to get in my stocking.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

It really does hate water, doesn't it? But I do love how my face feels afterwards.

I may have to give this a try. My skin is difficult in the winter. Dry in spots with clogged pores in others.

It sounds like a product to pamper yourself with. It's a bit expensive though.
