Bella Sun Luci Sun Dried Tomato {Review} #ad

I love bruschetta. Until recently, I'd ordered various versions of this delicious appetizer at restaurants but I had not served it at home. Did you know that bruschetta can be made with beans, vegetables, cheese, and even cured meats? And, probably most famously - with tomatoes, olive oil and herbs.

Bella Sun Luci sent me a jar of their ready-to-serve bruschetta topping, along with some sun dried tomatoes to try. All their bruschetta needs is some crackers or toasted bread, a smattering of cream cheese, and voila - an easy, great-looking, yummy-tasting appetizer. For the sun dried tomatoes, I found several wonderful recipes on the Mooney Farms website. Mooney Farms is the company that's been making those delicious sun dried tomatoes for over 25 years. The Garbanzo Bean Salad was such a hit that I had to make it for two days in a row. The second time, I changed it around a bit, skipping the artichokes and using carrots instead of green peppers and celery. Isn't it pretty? I think it will work well with yellow or red bell peppers, too.

The other dish we tried was the Sun Dried Tomato Quiche. Here, I pretty much stayed with the recipe, except for substituting feta for the goat cheese and omitting the top layer of sun dried tomatoes. Oh and I added some steamed broccoli that were left over from the day before. It tasted amazing. My family devoured it in record time, and begged me to make it again. This recipe uses the fantastic Bella Sun Luci Sun Dried Tomato Pesto as a bottom layer. Next on my list is the California Fresh Pesto Pizza, another recipe made with this pesto. And, to make up for replacing the goat cheese in my quiche - the Italian Torte with Goat Cheese.

Check out MooneyFarms.com for these and other scrumptious recipes for appetizers, entrees, sauces, and side dishes. Some of the Bella Sun Luci products are available to purchase online, as well. To my delight, I found a mega-sized jar of Bella Sun Luci Sun Dried Tomatoes at my wholesale club. All the better to try all those new recipes!

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

I love any tomatoes but sun dried lasts longer and they make the dish look so pretty and festive. Must try this brand.

Thanks for the information on Moody Farms and sun dried tomatoes, your bruschetta looks wonderful and I love how you substitute items for what you have on hand and what you like. I have never made bruschetta at home, but have had it at restaurants, and funny thing is it is not real hard to make.. Just the convenience of it.

I have noticed that it depends on how tomatoes are canned so these should be good because of being in a jar. Thank you, Jerri Davis

I am not a big fan of sun dried tomatoes, I don't know why because I love all kinds of other tomatoes and sauces. But this stuff sounds delish and your ideas for recipes makes me want to give them a try. Thanks.
