Smile Brilliant Professional Teeth Whitening System #Giveaway

Sunday, December 29, 2013 Posted by Dina N

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.
I am a coffee drinker who loves chocolate and enjoys the occasional glass of red wine. I argue that all of those things are good for me in moderation. However, they do stain my teeth.

I've tried a variety of products for a brighter smile. The latest was the Smile Brilliant LED Teeth Whitening System. The kit includes a pen with whitening gel, two protective trays, and a LED light operated by batteries. It took more than 50 twists of the pen to get the gel out. I was ready to give up when I noticed the gel on the tip of the pen brush. I "painted" my front teeth with the gel, then placed the soft plastic protective trays over my teeth and turned on the LED light. The whole process lasts 20-45 minutes with the light on, and can be extended to an hour or two without the light. I used it for the minimum recommended 20 minutes. I was surprised to find out that holding the light in my mouth was not as hard as I expected. It is a tad boring to keep it in place the entire time but it's doable. The hardest thing to deal with is the saliva that accumulates in my mouth - a feeling not unlike the one I have in the dentist chair.

So far, I've used the Smile Brilliant system just a few times but can see results. I will not subject anyone to my before and after photos but as far as home teeth whitening methods go, this one appears to work. I am not sure how long the gel in one pen lasts. According to the company, it's good for about 7 applications. Extra pens and LED lights can be purchased from the Smile Brilliant website. If you experience tooth sensitivity, they offer desensitizing gel, too. The Smile Brilliant LED Teeth Whitening System is available for $39.95.

I have never tried any at-home teeth whitening products before. However, my teeth could use some brightening so I would love to win this and give it a try!

I use to be an at-home-whitening-a-holic, and I got asked , "How'd you get your teeth so white?" all the time. But that was a few years and may cups of coffee ago...
