Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.
Ever feel like you are stuck in a makeup rut? I love trying out new beauty products but often pick what has worked for me in the past over the unknown. Wantable offers a fun way to experiment with new makeup products and add a little variety to my tried-and-true routine.

The first thing I did was to take a quiz about what I like and what I hate in makeup. The quiz was quite detailed but did not take too long to complete. Just a couple of days later, my customized Wantable box arrived. It included four full-size products and one sample.

The Michael Marcus lipstick (ARV $24) was the first product I tried, and turned out to be my favorite. It's creamy and long-lasting, and I love the Teri shade. The Pomegranate Nail Lacquer (ARV $4) is a pretty lavender called Prince Charmer. I don't remember ever wearing lavender nail polish, although I love just about any variation of purple. I like how it looks on my nails and I am glad I tried this color.

Next came the Girlactik Beauty Star Shadow (ARV $18) in ballet. The matte eggplant shade is somewhat darker that what I usually wear. It works well for a smoky look but it's not something I'd put on every day - more of a special occasion evening-out thing.

The Manna Kadar Lash Primer (ARV $20) was the only total miss in my Wantable box. This is a moisturizer for eyelashes for use under your mascara during the day, or as a lash conditioner at night. My eyelashes felt sticky when I tried it, and I kept blinking instinctively trying to get it off. I don't see myself using it again.

In addition to the full-size products, Wantable sent me a sample of Skiin Instant Skin Tightener & Line Filler. Since the sample size is too small to test thoroughly, I will not include it in my review.

Overall, I'd give the Wantable box I received 3/5 stars. It's a good value, since I got about $66 worth of products in a box that's offered for $36-$40 (subscription or one-time delivery). The downside is that I will not use all four products. Yet, it's worth a shot for those who enjoy surprise makeup goodies.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

I tried the intimates box and really was impressed with what was sent. It's not something I would subscribe to but as a treat now and then - heck yeah!
