Ageless Derma Anti-Wrinkle Cream {Review} #ad

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.
I've been using a daily moisturizer, sunscreen, and night cream on my face for longer than I care to remember. Lately, I noticed an anti-wrinkle cream might be in order. An ounce of prevention and so forth, right?

Recently, I received the Ageless Derma Stem Cell and Peptide Anti-Wrinkle Cream to try. It comes in a 1 oz jar and promises to protect and revitalize skin from the signs of aging. The cream lists 35 ingredients on the label - some I can recognize (water, glycerin, soluble collagen, jojoba seed oil), while others sound too complicated to me. The company says the cream contains an apple stem cell extract called PhytoCellTec that is effective in reducing facial wrinkles.

I used the cream morning and night, as recommended, for a couple of weeks. I have sensitive skin and often worry about skin irritation when I test a new product. I am happy to report no redness, tingling, irritation, or rashes whatsoever. The scent is fresh and pleasant, although I can't really tell what it smells like. The cream absorbs easily and leaves my skin feeling refreshed and definitely moisturized. I did not use the cream on  my entire face but focused on the areas around my eyes, my mouth, and on my forehead. That's where I see some pesky, well, let's call them signs of aging. I noticed an improvement almost right away. The difference is not as dramatic as the before and after pictures I often see in magazines, probably because my fine lines are not too deep yet - I am grateful for that. Still, I absolutely love the results I see in the mirror.

I should mention that the jar itself is a bit unusual. Under the cap, there is a white disc with a small hole in the middle. To dispense the cream, you press down on the disc. It took me some trial and error to get to the right pressure - press too hard and too much cream comes out; press too lightly, you get nothing. It gets some getting used to, especially if most of your creams, like mine, come in regular jars or tubes. I understand the logic behind using airless packaging but I wish the jar were transparent, so I can see how much cream I have left. As it is, I can't tell how long a jar of this anti-wrinkle cream will last. I think I use small amounts but it all adds up, especially when applying twice daily.

The Ageless Derma Stem Cell and Peptide Anti-Wrinkle Cream is available online and retails at $65. Shipping on domestic orders is free and right now, you can save 20% at with promo code AGELESS.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Hmm, I don't know. It doesn't sound too user friendly with that jar. I like a jar where I can use every bit of cream, since it's so expensive. Thanks for featuring and explaining the cream and jar. I'll keep searching.

I agree, for sixty five dollars a jar it should be more user friendly.
I'd want to know how much was left and just be able to scoop it out or squirt it out.
But I was glad to see you had no reactions to using it. I too have sensitive skin and have to worry about itching and burning. Thanks for your thorough review.

The other day I was walking through Macy's on my way out of a mall and an Elizabeth Arden sales person stopped me (probably because I have a lot of wrinkles) and demonstrated their new moisturizer that has SPF 30 in it...and the jar uses the same disc dispenser as you describe. It actually is easy to use, but it is true you can't see how much is in the jar. That is the only irritating part I could discern. Thanks for the post.
