Brenese™ Ageless Rejuvenating Cream {Review} #ad

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.
We've been having some seriously cold weather lately. Between the polar vortex and indoor heating, my skin feels drier than usual. I've had to replace my light moisturizer with thicker creams to deal with the dryness.

One of the new products I tried was the Brenese™ Ageless Rejuvenating Cream. The first jar of cream I received had a bizarre smell, so the company sent me a replacement. This is a cocoa butter cream containing also shea butter, jojoba oil, aqua, white petroleum, stearic acid, and Epsom salts. At room temperature, the cream looks almost solid. The cocoa butter melts upon contact with the skin and the cream becomes, well, creamy. The first time I spread a small amount on my face, there was a tingling sensation, so I stopped using the cream for a few days. On my second try, the tingling was gone but my face started itching. I am not sure which ingredient disagrees with me since I have no allergies that I know of - just sensitive skin. My skin felt smooth but there was a bit of an oily residue that took a while to absorb. This is a heavy cream that's best suited for night time. Thankfully, despite the itching, there was no rash, and I might give the cream one more chance in a couple of weeks. So far, it appears that the Brenese™ Ageless Rejuvenating Cream does not work well for me.

Clearly, I cannot comment on how well the cream works on wrinkles and blemishes, since I've been unable to use it long enough. I will mention the packaging. I like the nice jar with the attractive blue cap. However, the first cream I got was placed in a carton box for another Brenese™ product - the Facial Rejuvenating Foundation Cream (Brown). The product inserts for the first and second cream I received were slightly different, and both could benefit from some serious proof reading. I will not discuss the style and grammar - suffice it to say they need work. A description of the properties of cocoa butter under "Shea Butter" and of shea butter under "Cacao Butter" does not go well with a $33 cream, either.

The Brenese™ Ageless Rejuvenating Cream can be purchased online from the company's website (http://bcpcreams.com/).

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers. This review reflects my personal experience and opinions about the product, and yours may differ.

I can see many women liking this product. Who doesn't want to look younger?

Really appreciated your candid comments here. $33 is too much to spend for something like this that isn't perfect.

Sorry you had this issue with the cream and would have liked to know the results. I do love things with cocoa butter in them so guessI I wouldn't know unless I gave it a try. My daughter is like you and there are many things she cannot use because of her skin sensitivity
