For as long as I can remember, there's been a bathroom scale in my house. It used to be a mechanical one with a dial, followed by a digital one that was battery operated. The Ozeri Rev Digital Bathroom Scale with Electro-Mechanical Weight Dial combines a dial with a digital display, and looks very neat in my bathroom.
Using my old bathroom scale requires a tap that is now more of a stomp. Sometimes it needs several stomps. The new Ozeri Rev needs no stomping - you just step on it and it turns on automatically. I love how the display illuminates in a pretty cool shade of blue - the numbers are large and easy to read. The scale needs 3 AAA batteries and can show weight up to 400 pounds in lbs or kilograms. You can look at the numbers or the mechanical dial. I noticed about 1.5% difference between my old scale and the new one. I am not sure which one is more precise but ultimately, it does not matter that much. Personally, I am more interested to see if there is a difference in my weight from week to week. There is a handy alarm feature that reminds you to measure your weight at the same time each day. I don't use that feature because I prefer to weigh myself once a week but if you step on the scale daily, that's something useful to have. Another nifty feature is the low battery indicator that reminds you to replace the batteries before the scale stops working.
The Ozeri Rev has a very sleek design. The platform is made of impact-resistant tempered glass and rests on four sturdy feet. A label warns about the glass getting slippery when wet but I have not had that problem. I place my scale away from the shower and have not noticed any dampness.
The Ozeri Rev Digital Bathroom Scale with Electro-Mechanical Weight Dial is available on Amazon at the sale price of $29.95.
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
