Life of Crime Released and Fandango Gift Card Giveaway #LifeOfCrime

Sunday, August 31, 2014 Posted by Dina N

Life of Crime releases in theaters this week, and I'll admit it is my top choice to see over Labor Day weekend. The new caper comedy stars Jennifer Aniston, Tim Robbins, Will Forte and Isla Fisher. If you can't get to the movie theater - the backyard barbecue is calling, perhaps, or you are heading to the beach or the pool for one last dip this summer - you can watch Life of Crime on demand and iTunes, too.

About the Movie
Mickey Dawson (Jennifer Aniston), the wife of crooked real-estate developer Frank Dawson (Tim Robbins), is kidnapped by two common criminals (yasiin bey and Jon Hawkes), who intend to hold her for a $1 million ransom and extort her husband with inside information about his illegal business dealings. But Frank, who is holed up in the Bahamas with his mistress, decides he’d rather not get his wife back, setting off a sequence of double-crosses and plot twists that could only come from the mind of master storyteller Elmore Leonard.

My favorite Tim Robbins film is The Shawshank Redemption (which as you know is based on the Stephen King novella "Rita Hayworth and Shawshank Redemption"). I also liked him in Mystic River (based on the Dennis Lehane novel of the same name).
